The "KMC type" is a retrofittable filter material (anti-suction material) that is effective when sediment is being drawn out from existing drainage pipes (PVC pipes) of retaining walls, embankments, etc. When sediment is drawn out, a cavity forms on the backfill side, increasing the risk of collapse and breach, creating a dangerous situation. The unique aspect of the KMC type insert filter is that it can be installed simply by inserting it from the surface of the waterway or road into the drainage pipe. Since there is no need to excavate the ground side, it excels in safety and short construction periods, which also helps keep construction costs low. Please consider using this product for anti-suction measures in such cases. It is compatible with both VP and VU pipes. Note: It is assumed that the drainage pipe is a PVC pipe. If there is only a hole in the concrete, installation may not be possible depending on the condition of the hole's surface.
